Associates
Whilst we have great expertise in designing, manufacturing and installing Sensory facilities and soft play rooms, as well as control systems and individual products, we admit that we cannot be experts at everything.
We therefore work in close association with other people who are specialists in their fields.
Here are some of the companies we are pleased to be associated with:
Brecon Coachworks
Brecon Coachworks is a company that specialises in adapting vehicles for specialist use and for people with disabilities. We are working as a team to produce the ‘Sensearound’ mobile sensory resource vehicle.
Forma Landscapes
Mike Ayres Design is regularly asked if we ‘do’ Sensory gardens. Our answer has always been that it needs expert input that we do not have. Forma Landscapes have two professional Landscape designers who specialise in creating Sensory gardens. We work together in creating both the structures of the garden and the specially designed equipment for outdoor use.
Hirstwood Training
Hirstwood Training and Florich Productions are people who specialise in educating about Sensory learning and the use of studios and rooms. Mike Ayres Design will undertake basic familiarisation training when you have a room or studio installed by us, but we strongly advise that you invest in specialist training to get full use out of your facility.
Lee Engineering
Lee Engineering is a specialist theatre and architectural lighting company. It has carried out a large number of high profile lighting projects. Although Mike Ayres Design has its own Switch2 control system, there are occasions when we need to combine our system with other specialist controls and equipment. We work closely with Lee Engineering on such projects.
Soundbeam
Soundbeam are a very long established company that produce a range of products that are essential tools for creative use of music and sound within schools and for a wide range of people with special needs. We have worked together to develop a number of products which support the use of the soundbeam, and continue to do so.
Tools for Living, Ireland
We have worked in close association for a number of years to make Mike Ayres Design products and Sensory and Soft Play Rooms available in the whole of Ireland. Tools for Living have offfices in Ballymena, Dublin and Cork and specialise in providing rehabilitation and mobility equipment as well as all of the sensory resources featured in our catalogue.
