Tactile sensation is a fundamental part of your overall sensory experience. It acts as a medium for exploration and enhances the understanding of the environment around you.
Originally designed by Jessica Ayres (Mike Ayres' daughter), the Tactile Caterpillar's wonderful exploration of form and texture fits very well in public or open spaces within a building.
Incorporating a wealth of different tactile textures, many of which can be found on our Tactile Wall Tiles. Feel and track the textures whilst discussing what the caterpillar could possibly eat to have such a varied skin. Can be designed as part of a larger tactile mural.

The Caterpillar comes as standard as Left facing (head to the left as you look at it). You can order it in a different orientation but that would be subject to longer lead times.
